2009 NPC Southeastern USA Wrapup: A Page for the History Books

The 2009 Southeastern USA lived up to it’s promise to improve the venue and provide a top notch experience for the competitors and spectators alike. Promoter Chris Eaddy is dedicated to making the Southeastern USA the premier event in Central Florida and promises to add more improvements for 2010.

This years event was nothing short of world class held on Disney property and had 108 competitor take part from teen to masters and figure to bodybuilding. The competition was tight and the overall was heavily contested with a berth at Nationals on the line. Robert Habeeb came away with them Men’s overall as he was in tip top shape and surely ready to tackle Nationals. In the Women’s body building Alivia Terrell-Nill came away with the hard earned victory. In Figure Carol Medina pulled it out battling a very competitive field. The Bikini winner was Brittany O'Connor.

This years event was headlined by Special guest Dexter Jackson. Dexter is always a fan favorite and the spectators got their chance to meet the 2008 Mr. Olympia first hand. Other pro’s in attendance were IFBB pro Darrem Charles, Figure pros Marcy Porter, Erin Stern, Candice Keene and Petra Mertl. Other top competitors in attendance and guest posing were up and coming stars Lee Banks and Rock Baytops and Lloyd Dollar. A special thanks to these 3 gentlemen for putting on a great show.

Spectators enjoyed a spacious venue packed with great vendors and sponsors and a newly added bar and food allowing spectators to enjoy the entire evening. Many made their way to the shows private after party where competitors, judges and spectators all enjoyed the fruits of their labor and danced the night away to cap off an amazing 2009 Southeastern USA.
